Heart Day Bouquet. |A Repost!|

I made this heart bouquet last Valentine's season, and I still really love it.

I thought I would repost the tutorial for you all again this year so that you can make one too.

Next up on my list of Valentine's projects to tackle is a little heart bouquet I've been wanting to make.

I started with these supplies that I picked up at Michael's. The hearts were on clearance for dirt cheap, and I used a 40% coupon on the floral wire.

I started with painting the hearts in various Valentine-y colors.

After they had dried, I sanded them because, of course I would. I can't like the too perfect painted look.

Next up, I grabbed this tool from the Hub's work bench to cut the floral wire into the lengths I wanted... I don't know what this tool is called, and I forgot to ask. All I know is that it did a freaking awesome job for me.

After all the pieces were cut to the right lengths, I hot glued the hearts to them.

And kept gluing until I had all of these.

Next up, I grabbed a rubber band to keep them all together, and facing the right direction.

For the vase for my bouquet, I went out to my garage and hunted down this spray painted Frappuccino bottle that I made a couple of years ago.

I took the bow off, turned the bottle around, and then put the hearts in it. The great thing about the flower wire is that it's bendable, so it was easy to get the bouquet to look how I wanted.

I'm feelin the love around here.
