The hubby built the boys a simple, easy, and space-saving bookshelf.
Adding to the never-ending list of things I need to paint around here.
I thought that rather than waiting to post it until I got it painted (also known as probably a year from now), I would show it to you all in it's natural bare wood glory.
(note the still unpainted bunkbed framing that shot..... I think we have hit the 18-20 month mark now... HELP.)
The major needs for this project were that we needed it to hold a lot of books, and we needed it to take up as little space as possible.
I think he nailed it.

LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it, too!
ReplyDeleteYou sure nailed it - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I want one! I'm jealous of you and your hubs skills ; )
ReplyDeleteTry quick dry varnish - comes in a range of wood colours - touch dry in 20 minutes, re-coatable in 1 hour. Goes on milky and dries clear, comes in Matt, Satin or Gloss finish.
ReplyDeleteAt least it's quick and doesn't smell too strong!
Looks great!!
